Sports Presentation Evening 2026
Mayfield was delighted to welcome Olympic Gold Medallist and former Great Britain hockey player Hollie Pearne-Webb to this year’s Sports Presentation Evening on 23 April.
Best known for scoring the winning penalty in Team GB’s historic Rio 2016 Olympic final victory, Hollie shared inspiring stories from her international career, speaking about the importance of resilience, teamwork, and determination. Her message to students was simple and powerful: "just give things a go."
The evening also celebrated another outstanding year of sport at Mayfield, with award presentations recognising individual and team achievements.
